Natural Detoxifying Face and Body Exfoliant

I love making my own body and face exfoliants. To me, it is so satisfying, being able to make my own natural product, knowing what goes in it and being able to experiment with wide choice of ingredients, that can go in it. This scrub is so easy to make and requires just 3 ingredients. Himalayan Pink Salt is prized for its therapeutic properties, both for the skin and for the culinary benefits. I wanted to create a natural face exfoliant, that can be used in the shower  and can be applied mixed with water. This is the first of my two recipes that I have tried out using this  amazing natural ingredient. Himalayan salt is full of minerals and iron and when applied to the skin these minerals act as a powerful detoxifier. It will also gently cleanse and rejuvenate your face. Almonds are packed with antioxidants and are great for nourishing the skin and the oat bran acts as a natural exfoliant. imagenaturalscrub2image To make the scrub you will need: 30 g   fine Pink Himalayan Salt 15 g  organic almonds 15 g Oat Bran Just mix everything together and put in a jar. Wet the desired area and apply a small handful over the body and face. I personally use this scrub when I am in the shower and it leaves my skin super soft. This scrub will keep for ages in a jar . image Enjoy glowing skin! xx
