Himalayan Salt and Coconut Oil Scrub

This is the second recipe  with the majestic  Himalayan Salt that I came up with. It is so easy to prepare this beautiful scrub and it can be used both, on face and body. It contains only a few ingredients and Himalayan Salt can be found in most health food stores and supermarkets.

Himalayan salt is an incredible source of minerals elements that are essential of our health. They are great for softening and detoxifying the skin . Combined with the sweet almond and coconut oil , this scrub will gently exfoliate, soften  and moisturise your skin leaving it with a healthy glow.

To make this scrub you will need:

2 tbs Coconut oil

1/2 a cup Himalayan  fine Salt

1 tbs Sweet Almond Oil

10 drops Geranium Essential Oil

5 drops ylang ylang essential oil

Mix together all the ingredients in a clean jar. You can melt the coconut oil in a bain marie to soften it, before adding it to the salt. You can make the amount and consistency that you want.

As always you can experiment and add your own ingredients, such as essential oils or other carrier oils to this mix. It is such fun to experiment and create your own beauty products with natural ingredients.

Love, Anna xx
